In the wake of the COVID-19 epidemic, we’ve changed how we do business so that we can safely serve you in these challenging times.

If your pet is sick or in need of urgent care, please call us. Dr. Bell is still seeing pets on an emergency basis, and we’re still scheduling non-emergency visits for when we’re able to fully open our hospital in the future. For food and prescription orders, we just ask that you call and pay ahead of time to minimize person-to-person contact.

We’re acutely aware of the dangers present in this moment and the need to take COVID-19 and its possible spread seriously. That’s why we’re meticulously cleaning exam rooms between patients and offering curbside service.

If you need to come to our hospital for an emergency or sick visit or to pick up food or medication, simply call reception at (205) 486-4500 and a member of our staff will come and get your pet. We’ll discuss a treatment plan and associated costs over the phone. Following diagnosis and treatment, your pet will be returned to you. This new approach allows us to protect you and our staff while making sure your furry family members get the care they need and deserve.
