Meet Dr. Bell
Dr. Nancy Bell's journey into veterinary medicine started with a vivid, stormy night that would mark the beginning of her calling. As a young girl, she witnessed a tense, challenging calving during a late-night storm. The local veterinarian was called to assist, and what unfolded was nothing short of miraculous—a rare birth of a calf with two heads and two tails. The event was unusual, mystifying, and transformative. Standing beside her father in the barn, young Nancy watched in awe as the veterinarian worked tirelessly to ensure the safety of both the mother and the calf. Inspired by the dedication and skill of the veterinarian, she turned to her father and, with the determination only a child can muster, declared, “I want to do that!”
